Addicted to Alliteration

In A land not near but far away,
lived a lady in her bubble home.
Within which with her hands she'll make,
All types of soap and foam.

Her soaps would gain her empathy,
special soaps they were indeed.
When u showered special shapes would form,
Your mood the soap would read.

From a heart that harboured hatred,
spawned a devil complete with tail
if a heart had love and peace,
then happy Shapes would surely hail.

Each day Unanounced a man walks by,
A stranger from foreign lands.
who wonders about the happy bubbles,
from where and from who's hands.

By her innocence and cheerful candor,
his heart would slowly melt.
But as days passed by he grew curiouser,
as to how she really felt.

As a valient act of sincerity,
his love he tried to show.
In his foreign gardens a lovely cactus,
For her he began to grow.

But when he presented it to her,
Her bubble he would burst.
For true love was to set her free,
It was her last and first.

Give your fellow men the amount of slack you give your God and the world will be a better place.

God works in mysterious ways. Which is why his actions are beyond judgement. What are we who are mere mortals to judge the ways of the infinitely divine.

God always has things planned for us as long as you trust him.

This, in my humble, mortal opinion is a lot of slack.

Why then do we demand that our organizations and governments be transparent in their dealings. Why then do we throw fits when some CEO, God equivalent insofar as the company is concerned, embezzles money?

Some of you would argue that God's God, CEO's human. Divinity trumps mortal, so you can't compare. You being right is precisely where the problem lies.

If God did those things would it makes us mortals very angry? Or would be believe in the ultimate divine purpose. The greatest good for the greatest numbers?

I suspect it would be the latter. Because being angry with God is a fundamental contradiction for a lot of people.

So why then the double standards? Why trust people only as far as we can throw them? (Read: not very much) Humans came from God after all did they not? Doesn't he have to take some responsibilities for how they turned out?

For those of you still thinking "It's not for mere mortals to judge God". You have wasted your time reading this. Stop here.

So in order for us to stop humanitie's downward spiral to ultimate hypocrisy i suggest two measures you can take.

1. Start questioning God. Or at least start to understand him so you can one day "qualify" to question him.

2. Stop questioning people about their intentions. Just assume that whatever motives they have will resolve itself with time.

I don't think God in his infinite wisdoms would mind a few questions.

Religion is for the Philosophically Lazy

95% of Christians will not understand what the title above means. Not because they are stupid (if we do not include the evagelistic christians). But because they don't bother.

God. The creator of apathetic humans. The spoon fed planet. Religion is supposed to free your mind, but there has been nothing more oppressive. Oppression here insofar as telling you what to think

Not even hitler or the Singapore Government. Not the law, not taxes, has the same amount of repressive powers.

When I was schooling, there was a difference between the book smart and the street smart. The book smart, at a young age, were determined by the Government to be so, and thus had privelages unknown to the street smart. They were given books, many books. They were taught how to think. How to score. How to get A's.

When given a problem the book smart queries "Which chapter is this from?"

All the street smart had was a shovel to dig their own graves with. They learnt the hard way. They learnt that in life there are no problems, because no one knows what the problem is. If a situation can be formulate into a problem, it was already destined to be solved.

Street smarts have been long considered by the book smarts to be slackers. But it's only because they can afford to be.

It's like throwing a baby into a swimming pool. Either he swims and survives. Or he dies.

In 2 years when I graduate, I will be joining all the book smarts at the bottom of the pool.

Religion is like the Government. Picking out the "enlightened" few. Those who know God are told what to think. Because well, they are so enlightened, so they can afford to be taught the truth.

Taught the truth. Taught the truth. Taught the truth.

A thousand brain cells just died in my head from the irony.

Life's lessons are learnt the hard way. Nothing trumps experience. Nothing trumps the pain of failure to remind you that failing sucks. Or having your theories proven wrong to remind you that nobody (not even God) is ever always right.

Come out of your protective shells now or when you walk out of the cave years from now, the sun is going to permanantly damage your retina. Young dudes and dudettes heal faster

Experience life for God's sake. (pun intentional). Life sucks. Which is why it is so wonderful.
